Why Choose Munters?

To best explain why Munters should be your service provider of choice, we have divided our information into the two groups below.  We've also included summary sections titled, We Understand and MCS At A Glance.

Our business breaks down into two main categories:

  • Property Damage Restoration
  • Temporary Humidity Control Services

Property Damage Restoration

Munters Property Damage Restoration provides a 24 hour rapid response service to commercial properties for losses resulting from fire or water damage (pipe breaks, flooding, hurricanes, tornados, etc). In addition to restoring your building structure following a loss, we also offer document and contents restoration.  These services restore documents, books, x-rays, microfiche and other types of media and contents.

Operating throughout the United States and Canada 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, all of our staff is directly employed and trained to use the most advanced equipment and techniques to return properties, documents and contents to pre-loss condition following damage by fire or water.

Customer service is our highest priority.  To this point, we have a company owned Customer Support Center (CSC) dedicated to connecting our customers to the most appropriate Munters employee.  All CSC personnel are sensitive to the needs of disaster restoration customers and work with each caller to get them on their way to recovery as soon as possible.

In addition to our CSC, we monitor how we are performing by sending out customer surveys at the close of each job.  These responses are reviewed by our Quality Systems Group and help us to continually improve and better meet the needs of our customers

Munters is an ISO 9001 Certified company.

Temporary Humidity Control Services

Over 50 years experience and extensive technical knowledge, coupled with the most up to date dehumidification technology, ensures Munters can provide solutions for temporary humidity and environmental control across every industry.

Munters can provide additional heating and drying (dehumidification) to buildings under construction.  Our services allow concrete and joint compound to dry quicker. It also assures the contractor or architect that all building materials are kept dry - this prevents Indoor Air Quality problems for building occupants in the future.

We also work with our Industrial customers to improve processes in such applications as, but not limited to: food processing, injection molding, investment casting, pharmaceutical processing, application of special protective coatings (automotive paint booths, etc.), and ship building. Our climate control technology is critical to the preservation of fine art, archives, museum exhibits, ice rinks and more.

In addition, we also work with painting contractors who need climate control during the blasting and coating of petroleum or marine tanks. Our services allow them to apply coatings in ideal environmental conditions which extends coating performance and life.

We Understand

We know that suffering a property damage incident can be extremely traumatic. Not only do customers want to see their property restored as quickly as possible, but they also need to feel supported at a time of great anxiety. That is why we continue to develop our restoration services to ensure our customer’s property is repaired in the shortest possible time with minimum cost and disruption. In addition, we maintain consistent and frequent communication with our customers throughout the duration of the project.

We also understand how critical humidity and climate control are for successful and on-time completion of construction and coating work.  Without humidity control, project deadlines are missed, quality is poor and Indoor Air Quality can be jeopordized.

In addition, we understand that many manufacturing processes come to a halt when humidity is too high.  With the USDA enforcing even tougher regulations regarding condensation in food processing plants, the need for humidity control has become a necessity. Quality control in such industries as pharmaceutical processing, injection molding and investment casting is essential and climate control plays a major role.

Munters recognizes the global issue of climate change and that it needs to be tackled immediately before every one of us is irreversibly affected. That’s why we have developed services and equipment specifically designed to reduce the impact on our environment.

Because we understand, we have produced this website, which is designed to tell you a little more about all of our services.
